Hello. Here's some info to help new sys admins add a new
user to the cat server and create space for their web site.
1. Create a User's Login Account See (Xref)Add A User to
Cat@lyst
2. Create a directory for their files in the web tree (under
/www)

3a. Most groups on Cat want a name like cat.org.au/happy.
This has been set up when you did step 2. It's extra nice
for them to have happy.cat.org.au AS WELL as
cat.org.au/happy. This is known as Virtual Hosting. See

3b. If the group wants a name like caterpillar.org, rather
than caterpillar.cat.org.au you will need to do some work
with dns (the domainname server) See (Xref)Nameserver hosts
4. If they want a mailing list, See (Xref)How do I make a

and Please don't forget to add the details into the Cat
Membership Database straight away :)
