And a picture by Orozco
Marg and I went to Time's Up!, and anarchist collective with space in downtown Manhattan. They were featured in the incredible documentary "And Still We Ride", about the repression of the Critical Mass movement in New York. They have a 'ghost bike' project, where they paint a bicycle white and install it as a memorial to bicyclists who have died at the site of fatal accidents. They make 2 or 3 every month, apparently.
Here's ABC No Rio, a squat and social center in Manhattan:
Here's some amazing graffiti on a building in Spring St., Manhattan.

On the way to Battery Park, I found these sculptures, carved out of old pier supports:
Here's my photos from the Tom Otterness sculpture garden, "The Real World":
Margaret's sister in law, Debbie, plays bass for hire in several bands around Manhattan and Brooklyn. One night, we went to Julienne restaurant in Brooklyn... a very nice, very french restaurant. I had French Onion Soup, and a roasted veggie and goat cheese salad, with balsalmic vinagre... yummy :) Marg and I drew the band while they played:
I took a radical walking tour of Greenwich Village one day, and visited Emma Goldman's house:
On my last day, Margaret and I walked over the Brooklyn Bridge to meet up with Jeremy and Hen at a club in Prospect Slope:
